Emergency Incident in Ararat Region: Gazelle Reduced to Ashes

Today, July 13, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 09:40, the Emergency Situations Ministry's 9-11 management center received a call reporting a vehicle on fire in the village of Kanachut.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, an operational team from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Service, specifically unit number 23, arrived promptly. Before the firefighters' arrival, citizens had already attempted to combat the fire in a Gazelle vehicle owned by 60-year-old Grisha Karapetyan, parked in front of house number 32 on Alik Sargsyan Street in the village. The firefighters later extinguished the flames, but the vehicle was completely reduced to a pile of ashes.

The cause of the fire in the vehicle is currently under investigation.
