Compensation Not Provided for Six War Veteran Students of the Management Academy

The newspaper ‘Zhoghovurd’ reports that six students from the RA Management Academy, who participated in the 44-day war in Artsakh, are facing a problem. The issue arose due to a decision by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, which allocated funds to the academy for the tuition of these students enrolled in a remote master's program.

According to information from ‘Zhoghovurd’, this money was later returned to the state budget because the word 'remote' was not included in the decision. Notably, the academy has yet to take any steps to correct this oversight and reacquire the tuition funds. As a consequence, these six students have found themselves in a difficult situation and have been unable to receive their diplomas, as their tuition fee of approximately 350,000 dram remains unpaid.

For comments, ‘Zhoghovurd’ reached out to the RA Management Academy. Elena Grigoryan, the responsible for Communication and Public Relations, sent the decision guiding the university but did not provide further explanation regarding how this situation came to be.
