Body Discovered in Lake, Retrieved via Rope to Shore

Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service dispatched two firefighting units alongside officers from the Shengavit Division of the Police's Criminal Investigation and Community Policing Departments, who successfully located the body of a woman that had been missing in Yerevan Lake since yesterday.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, the firefighters discovered the body submerged in the lake and retrieved it using a rope to bring it to shore. Currently, a team from the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee is operating at the site, where a criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

As per Shamshyan's information, the deceased woman had been searched for several days as a missing person.
