At least six people have died in the city of Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region following a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by Gоворит Москва.

Vladimir Leontyev, head of the military-civilian administration of the Kakhovka district, stated that there are dozens of injured individuals. He noted that the injuries consist of shrapnel wounds and cuts.

Leontyev also mentioned that many people remain trapped in the rubble. "The injured are continuing to be transported to the hospital, many are trapped in their apartments and houses, and their evacuation is still impossible," said the head of the military-civilian administration of Kakhovka.

It should be reminded that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shelled Nova Kakhovka using the HIMARS multiple rocket launch system, provided by the United States. The Ukrainian side detonated munitions depots. The market, a hospital, and houses have been damaged.

Leontyev reported that a humanitarian aid warehouse located near the site of the incident has also been affected.
