How the Pashinyan-Erdoğan Phone Call Was Organized: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'Yesterday, information was disseminated that Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish president on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, and the Turkish president reciprocated by congratulating Pashinyan on the occasion of Vardavar. We tried to clarify who initiated the phone conversation, but the government stated that they had no further comment outside of the official announcement.
However, we found out that the arrangement for the phone call had been made earlier within the framework of the normalization of relations, not specifically initiated by one side. By the way, the same text was also posted on the official website of the Turkish president, of course, in Turkish. They stated that it was coordinated; they have just now released it. Meanwhile, in phone conversations with the Russian president, it often happens that the Armenian side releases one thing, while the Kremlin publishes something different.'
