Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: According to Son, Mother May Have Accidentally Fallen into Lake Yerevan

Rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been conducting search and rescue operations in Lake Yerevan for over an hour and a half, alongside police patrols from the second battalion of Yerevan's Patrol Service, investigators from the Shengavit Police Department, and community police units.

According to Shamshyan.com, a call was received at the operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Shengavit Police Department from a citizen reporting that his mother had left home several hours earlier and had not returned. The son conducted his own search along the suspect route his mother might have taken, checking local shops and using surveillance cameras from private companies. He discovered that his mother was last seen near Lake Yerevan, where a walking stick belonging to her was found. It is suspected that she may have accidentally fallen into the lake.

Currently, divers are not conducting operations due to unfavorable water conditions, but search efforts continue, including at possible locations the woman may have visited.
