Shirak Governor Talks About Today’s Earthquake

This morning at 07:36, another earthquake was recorded 14 km east of the village of Bavra. The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone reached 6 on the Richter scale, while it was felt with a magnitude of 5 in the settlements of Shirak region.

Shirak Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan stated that, according to Aleksan Gyozalyan, head of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Shirak regional rescue department, there have been no reports of collapses at this time. Responsible departments of the regional administration are gathering information from all communities in the region to assess any potential damages.
