Large Fire at the Famous 'Knife-Fork Factory' in Ejmiatsin
Today, on July 11, a large fire broke out in the Armavir region. Around 13:30, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a fire had ignited at the former 'Knife-Fork' factory located at 1 Charentsi Street in the city of Ejmiatsin, which was well-known during the Soviet era.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, six fire teams and one ladder from the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly at the scene.
The police have cordoned off the area to allow firefighters to work without obstruction. A medical team from the 'Vagharshapat' medical center has also arrived on-site in case assistance is needed for citizens.
It has been established that the fire broke out on the factory's roof, and according to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
