Emergency Situation in Kotayk Province: Strong Wind Topples Several Thick Trees

On July 11, an emergency situation has arisen in Kotayk province. Around 19:30, as a result of strong winds, two massive old trees were uprooted on the Abovyan-Nor Hachn highway, but did not fall completely as they were held up by electric wires.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com from the scene, traffic has been temporarily halted, and emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with municipal workers from Abovyan, are on site using electric saws to cut the trees and safely remove them.

Fortunately, according to initial information, there have been no injuries.
