Details on the Murder of 'Tsri Vardan'

The Investigative Committee of Armenia is taking necessary measures to uncover the details surrounding the murder that occurred in Tsaghkadzor.

A report was received concerning the death of a resident of Tsaghkadzor (born in 1974) who was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was transferred to 'Hrazdan Medical Center' on July 10, 2022, at 21:00.

Based on the report from the medical center, a criminal case was initiated under Article 155, Part 2, Clause 7, and Article 335, Part 1 of the Armenian Criminal Code.

As a result of urgent investigative measures taken within the framework of the case, it was determined that the incident took place near one of the houses on Mayisyan Street in Tsaghkadzor. The examination of the corpse revealed gunshot wounds on the man's body, and an examination of the crime scene uncovered fired cartridges and blood-like traces.

Measures are being taken to ensure an objective and comprehensive investigation, and the circumstances of the case are being clarified. Instructions have been issued to the investigating authority.
