Rescuers Retrieve Russian Citizens from Lake Sevan
On July 9, at 16:32, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received information that there were citizens on a kayak about 3 km away from the 2nd public beach of Lake Sevan, who were unable to reach the shore. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The lifeguards, who were on duty at the public beach, brought the citizens (Russian nationals A.G., born in 2002, D.M., born in 1994, M.Y., born in 1995, R.K., born in 195, and A.K., born in 1999) and the kayak to the southern shore of the Sevan peninsula.
