49-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian with Chevrolet in Yerevan
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case regarding a pedestrian accident that occurred on July 2 in Yerevan, led by senior investigator Gegham Galstyan from the Traffic Transportation Crimes Investigation Division.
On that day, around 21:30, a 49-year-old resident of Yerevan, Hayk D., reportedly struck a pedestrian, 33-year-old Romanos T. from Kotayk region, with his Chevrolet vehicle in front of 54 Komitas Avenue.
According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene; instead, he called for an ambulance and assisted in transporting the injured pedestrian to the Mikayelyan Surgical Institute.
Officers from the Yerevan patrol service arrived at the scene. Reports indicate that driver Hayk D. works as the head of the lending department at Converse Bank.
