Major Traffic Accident in Gegharkunik Region: Injuries Reported, One Vehicle Crossed Into Oncoming Lane

On July 9, a traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 00:30, on the 70 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, in front of the "Gagari Mot" restaurant complex, two vehicles collided: a Honda Paradise driven by 36-year-old Lusine Vardanyan and an Opel Zafira driven by Vladimir Ghalechyan.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver L. Vardanyan was taken to the "Sevan" medical center for medical assistance.

The firefighters disconnected the vehicles from power, secured the gas cylinders, and cordoned off the area. The on-duty medical team from the Sevan hospital acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured person before transporting them to the hospital.
