Accident in Vayots Dzor: 58-Year-Old Driver Overturns Truck Loaded with Calves

Today, July 9, a serious incident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. At approximately 08:10 AM, 58-year-old Maijska N., a resident of Gegharkunik Province, was driving a GAZ 3302 truck on the Yerevan-Meghri highway at the 155.9 km mark in the administrative territory of the village of Saravan. For reasons still unknown, the truck veered off the roadway while traveling from Syunik Province towards Vayots Dzor, collided with rocks, and overturned.

According to reports from shamshyan.com, preliminary information indicates that there were no injuries resulting from the accident. In addition to the driver, there was one passenger in the vehicle, who also did not sustain any injuries. The truck was carrying six calves in its cargo area.
