Iran Begins Exercises in the Caspian Sea
Iran has commenced exercises in the Caspian Sea today, under the name "Sustained Security 1401." This was reported by IRNA.
The Deputy Commander of Iran's Navy, Hamzeh Ali Kavian, stated that Iran conducts "Sustained Security" exercises annually in the Caspian Sea, noting that this year's exercises involve missile ships, helicopters, and drones.
According to him, the goal of these annual exercises is to enhance troop cooperation and facilitate experience exchange. "Kavian referred to the Caspian as the sea of peace and friendship, emphasizing that Iran will not allow violations of security in the world's largest lake region," the report stated.
