Worker Falls to Death from Newly Constructed Building in Yerevan

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case regarding an extraordinary incident that took place on July 5 in Yerevan, as confirmed by investigator Sahakyan from the Arabkir Investigative Division.

On that day, around 18:25, the Arabkir police received a call from the Arabkir ambulance station, reporting that a medical team responding to a call had discovered a man's body at the construction site located at 9/3 Tbilisi Highway.

A response team from the Arabkir police, led by the deputy head of the criminal investigation department, Garakyan, arrived at the scene.

It was determined that the deceased was 59-year-old Simon L., a resident of the Kotayk region, who had fallen from the fourth floor of a building under construction in the specified area and died at the scene. An autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.
