Photos: Identities of the deceased and 6 injured in the ‘Unibank’ explosion revealed

The identities of the deceased and injured in the explosion at the ‘Unibank’ branch in Ashtarak have been confirmed today, July 6, by the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Aragatsotn regional division and the regional police.

According to shamshyan.com, those hospitalized include 31-year-old Hovhannes K., the manager of the bank’s Ashtarak branch, 26-year-old Hayk Ch., a security employee of the bank, and 59-year-old Rouzanna Kh., a cleaner for the same bank, who died at the hospital. Others include 26-year-old Lena A., a bank employee, 26-year-old Lilit Sh., another bank employee from Gegharkunik region, and customers of the bank, 44-year-old Harutyun Kh. and 50-year-old Armen M., both residents of Aragatsotn.

As previously reported, an extraordinary incident occurred on July 6 in the Aragatsotn region. At around 08:30, an explosion was heard at the ‘Unibank’ in Ashtarak. According to witnesses at the scene, 7 people with various degrees of bodily injuries were transported to Ashtarak Hospital, one of whom died in the hospital. The doctors at Ashtarak Hospital acted swiftly, providing first aid at the scene before transporting the injured to the hospital.
