A Participant of the 44-Day War in Azerbaijan Self-Immolates: Azerbaijan Postfactum

A resident of Yeni Heyat village in Shamkir, Ilham Yilmaz oglu Hesenov, a participant in the 44-day war, self-immolated in front of the Shamkir District Executive Power building in protest. According to the Azerbaijan Postfactum Telegram channel, Hesenov was awarded for 'distinguished combat service' during the 44-day war.

The channel notes that no matter how much Aliyev's regime tries to hide or assert that they care for their soldiers, we have been convinced of the opposite at least in recent months.
