The explosion occurred at Unibank's "Ashtarak" branch. This was stated in a press release from the bank.

"In connection with the emergency incident, we inform that specialists are working on-site. With great sorrow, we report that as a result of the explosion, Ruza Khachatryan, an employee of the cleaning service at the branch, has passed away. We extend our deepest condolences to Ruza Khachatryan's family and relatives and share in their immense grief. Other employees of the branch have been transferred to the hospital. We will provide more details regarding the circumstances of the explosion in the area after the expert's conclusion," the bank reports.
