The Elevator Did Not Fall: Deputy Director of Artmed Medical Center on the Tragic Incident

Moments ago, referring to shamshyan.com, we reported that an elevator at the Artmed Medical Center had detached and fallen, and a man's body had been discovered in the shaft. However, Deputy Director Arayik Gharibyan of the Artmed Medical and Rehabilitation Center denied the information in an interview with Auroranews.am, stating that the elevator did not detach or fall.

“The medical center was without power for about 30 minutes, and at that time, a certain Mr. A was in the elevator, who found himself in the elevator shaft under unknown circumstances. The operation of the elevator was not interrupted, it did not detach or fall. The citizen found himself in the shaft under unknown circumstances. Details will be clarified by the investigation,” noted the deputy director.

Dr. Gharibyan also added that representatives from both the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Police are currently at the medical center.
