The Border is So Unprotected That an Unexpected Decision Has Been Made: ‘Hraparak’

According to the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper, months ago we reported that the border is so unprotected in the area around the Sev lake that Azerbaijanis can freely cross and reach Sisian. The situation has become so alarming that the local military corps decided to plant mines in the agricultural area of the enlarged community of Tegh, approximately one kilometer long.

In a conversation with us, former community mayor Varo Grigoryan confirmed this news, noting that he could not share more details. We also learned that the local population was not warned about the mine-laying. They found out when one of the farmer's horses, grazing as usual, reached the mined field and exploded on a mine.

For more details, refer to today’s issue of the newspaper.
