Ishkhan Saghatelyan Has Departed for Europe: He Will Hold Over 10 High-Level Meetings
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," "Ishkhan Saghatelyan, co-chair of the Resistance Movement and representative of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), has departed on a working visit to the European Parliament's headquarters in Strasbourg, where a plenary session is underway. He will then travel to Brussels.
Our sources indicate that Saghatelyan's schedule includes meetings with leaders of the European Parliament, responsible officials from institutions related to Armenia, and representatives of major political groups. He is set to hold over 10 high-level meetings.
Notably, this comes after authorities stripped Saghatelyan of his position as Vice Speaker of the National Assembly. It is clear that there is significant interest in the Armenian opposition and its future plans in Europe. This trip is also remarkable as some consider the parliamentary opposition to be a pro-Russian movement, guided from Moscow."
