Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The statement issued by the Ministry of Defense refutes the claims made by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense regarding the alleged opening of fire by the Armenian Armed Forces on the night of June 28 to 29. According to the Azerbaijani message, shots were fired at Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border using various calibers of firearms. However, this statement does not reflect the reality of the situation.

The situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains relatively stable and is fully under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
