Forest Fire Breaks Out in Turkey, Cable Car Operations Halted
A forest fire has broken out in Turkey's Antalya resort area, with firefighting efforts involving 5 helicopters and 4 aircraft.
According to ria.ru, the fire erupted in a forested area near the Tunektepe cable car in the Konyaalti district of Antalya. Teams from the Antalya regional forest management have been dispatched to the scene, and the fire is being tackled by 5 helicopters and 4 aircraft.
As a result of the fire, operations at the cable car have been suspended.
