Egyptian Citizens Will Find It Easier to Visit Armenia

The process of obtaining a visa for Egyptian citizens to enter Armenia has been simplified. The Armenian Embassy in Egypt announced that starting from July 11, 2022, the visa regime for Egyptian citizens is being eased. Specifically, Egyptian citizens will no longer need an invitation from the Armenian police or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From the aforementioned date, Egyptian citizens can apply for a visa directly at the Embassy of Armenia in Egypt or any other diplomatic representation of the Republic of Armenia.

Egyptian citizens can also apply for a visa through the electronic visa system at evisa.mfa.am.

Additionally, Egyptian citizens can obtain a visa upon arrival at any border control point in Armenia if they have a residence permit or visa from the following countries: EU member states, Schengen zone countries, USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Canada, Russia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
