What Agreements Have Been Reached by the Special Representatives of Armenia and Turkey

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports that the special representatives for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic, have reached a number of agreements in Vienna.

"The parties have agreed to ensure the possibility of crossing the Armenia-Turkey land border in the shortest possible timeframe for citizens of third countries visiting Armenia and Turkey, and have decided to initiate the necessary processes in this regard," the statement said.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has also been agreed that direct air cargo transportation between Armenia and Turkey will commence in the shortest possible timeframe, and they have decided to start the necessary processes in this direction.

Additionally, other possible specific steps that can be taken to achieve the ultimate goal of complete normalization between the two countries have been discussed.

"Ultimately, the parties have once again emphasized their commitment to continue the normalization process without preconditions," notes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noteworthy that today the fourth meeting of the special representatives for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey took place in the capital of Austria.
