Germany to Send Retired Specialists to Armenia, Says Vahan Kerobyan
Today in Yerevan, during a briefing with reporters following a meeting with German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Svenja Schulze, Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated that Germany plans to send its retired specialists to Armenia.
“The Federal Republic of Germany has a program to send its retired professionals abroad as consultants. This is a very interesting program for us, as one of our initiatives for modernizing the economy and increasing economic productivity is to involve high-level specialists in Armenian companies,” Kerobyan noted.
According to him, if the program can be successfully implemented, it could be a significant boost for increasing the productivity of Armenian companies.
Svenja Schulze also emphasized that the implementation of projects with the Armenian side is possible only if Armenia ensures the legal conditions it has adopted, including fighting corruption, judicial reforms, and sustainable democracy. “These are the guarantees under which German investments are possible, and under which the German side will be pleased to support the Armenian government,” Schulze said.
