The Senior Investigator of the Human Trafficking Crimes Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia has submitted a request to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan to allow a search at one of the houses on Yeghiazaryan Street in Yerevan within the framework of a particularly important criminal case being investigated.

According to shamshyan.com, the court granted the investigator's request, and the apartment belonging to 33-year-old Arman Hovhannisyan, who was arrested in connection with the shooting that resulted in the murders of two citizens in the village of Nigavan in the Ararat Province on June 19, was searched.

Sources indicate that during the search, 3.31 grams of a cannabis-like substance and three 12 mm caliber hunting cartridges were discovered, one of which was found to be fired.

Earlier, we reported that on June 23, by the decision of Samvel Simonian, the head of the Investigative Division of the Ararat Province, Stepan Sukiasyan, a senior investigator of the same division, had submitted a request to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan (located in Malatia-Sebastia) to impose a two-month detention as a measure of restraint against Yerevan resident Arman Hovhannisyan.

According to the photographer, he is suspected of committing murder or murders during a dispute in the village of Nigavan in Ararat Province. Judge Armen Poghosyan held a closed court session, and upon returning from the advisory room, granted the investigator's request, and A. Hovhannisyan was transferred to the penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
