Military Serviceman Breaks Door Glass at Yerevan State University and Damages Coffee Machine

Materials have been prepared at the Central Police Department and sent to the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. According to shamshyan.com, these materials were compiled based on a report from Hayk K., a security officer at Yerevan State University, submitted on June 27. He notified the police central department that on that day, around 06:00, an unknown person broke the glass of the entrance door at the Faculty of Physics located at 1 Alek Manukyan Street.

A police operational group from the central department, accompanied by the operational group of the Marash police department, headed by crime detection unit officers, headed to the university. The police determined that the perpetrator is a 26-year-old resident of the Armavir region, Artashes M., who, while in an intoxicated state, broke the entrance door glass of the physics faculty and also damaged the glass of a coffee machine located in the adjacent area of the university, causing material damage.

Shortly thereafter, the patrol officers of the Yerevan battalion of the RA Police discovered Artashes M. and detained him on suspicion of intentional property damage. He was taken to the Marash police department, where he refused to provide any explanation. Artashes M. serves in a military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense.
