How Much Money Was Raised for Teachers' Gifts and Graduation Party: The Case is with the Police
On June 27, K.G., the military instructor of Gyumri’s Number 11 School, reported to the Mush police department, stating that at the directive of the school principal A.G., funds were collected from 95 ninth-grade students of Gyumri’s Number 11 School during May 2022. Each student contributed amounts ranging from 23,500 to 29,000 Armenian drams, which were passed to their class teachers, as reported by Aravot.am.
According to the report, 15,000 drams of the collected funds were intended for the graduation party at a restaurant, allocated as the cost for one seat. Additionally, 6,000 drams were earmarked for the state examination committee and for hospitality for teachers, while another 3,000 drams were set aside for purchasing gifts for principal A.G. and vice-principal G.P. Information on other gift recipients is still being clarified. Furthermore, 5,000 drams were intended for graduation albums, based on the instructor’s statement.
