Why the Head of Aparan Police Was Dismissed
The "Pats" newspaper reports: "Two days after the shots fired in the Aparan community on June 19, Aparan Police Chief Ashot Hayrapetyan was dismissed from his position. Although no official explanation has been given for his dismissal, many believe that such coincidences do not happen, and this sacking could not be unrelated to the aforementioned events, which led to the deaths of young people.
According to information from the "Pats" newspaper, the reason for the police chief's dismissal was not due to his failure to control the situation or prevent such a tragedy, but rather his behavior following the incidents. After the gunfire, when the wounded were transported to the Aparan hospital, a large number of citizens visited, breaking the entrance door and windows in the foyer. In short, there was a real "chaos" here.
A large number of police officers arrived at the hospital, including the Aparan police chief, who allegedly used brute force against the citizens, saying, "What kind of debauchery are you creating here?" According to our sources, this incident became the main reason for his dismissal."
