The West Lowers an Iron Curtain Between Itself and Russia

The West has lowered an iron curtain between itself and Russia. This was announced on Thursday by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, reports Kp.ru.

“As for the iron curtain, it is already falling; the process has begun,” Lavrov stated during a joint press conference with Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.

Lavrov also mentioned that Russia is taking all measures to reduce dependence on the West, particularly in critical industrial sectors vital for the state and its population.

At the same time, Sergey Lavrov admitted that the United States aims to weaken the EU, noting that Europe suffers more from anti-Russian sanctions than the U.S.
