The National Assembly Council to Convene Extraordinary Session on Dismissal of Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Vahe Hakobyan

The National Assembly Council has convened an extraordinary session under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan. The Council has agreed to hold an extraordinary session of the National Assembly on July 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM, according to the agenda and timeframe set by the initiator.

Earlier today, it was reported that the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly submitted a request to the Council to convene an extraordinary session on July 1 at 11:00 AM.

The agenda includes draft decisions to recall Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the position of Vice Speaker of the National Assembly and to terminate the powers of Vahe Hakobyan as the head of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
