Putin and Aliyev Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Issue: What Was Discussed
In Ashgabat, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting. During their discussions, they addressed various issues, including the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Putin emphasized the good relations between the two countries and the progress of the agreements reached. The Kremlin's press service reported this information: “The most important thing is the implementation of our plans, more precisely, our joint projects by 2024. Everything is moving forward. Of course, there are issues related to regional security, particularly those concerning the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. We talked about this, and now there is an opportunity to discuss this matter again,” said the Russian president.
Aliyev expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. “Today there will also be an opportunity to discuss regional issues and regional conflicts. I hope that our relations will continue to develop successfully in the future,” said Aliyev.
