Colonel Told Him He Didn't Care About His Rank: Red Beret's Position Also Increased
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "By direct order from Nikol Pashinyan, all police officers who used violence against participants of the resistance movement's rallies and marches have been uniformly rewarded with money, medals, and some have even been promoted. We previously wrote that the activist-drowning officer known as Arthur, nicknamed 'Kyazh', has received a promotion. By the way, he is one of the police officers who accompanies Anna Hakobyan and Nikol Pashinyan to events.
Kyazh has been appointed commander of one of the three battalions of the special purpose unit of the Yerevan police department, where previously another barbaric officer, Mikayel Ayvazyan, served. He was notorious not only for his violence against protesters but also for his disgraceful behavior towards the Knight of the Combat Cross, Sergey Hrayrapetyan. He had stated that he didn't care about Hrayrapetyan’s rank and then hurled insults, claiming that he was also someone who could make colonels.
Ayvazyan has been appointed as the deputy commander under Haikaz Jomardyan of the aforementioned battalion. A few days ago was also Ayvazyan’s birthday; he organized a large party celebrating both his promotion and his birthday.
