Arayik Harutyunyan: "The Principles of the Artsakh Conflict Are as Follows..."
During a session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, President Arayik Harutyunyan stated that the Artsakh conflict should be resolved through peaceful means; however, any status within Azerbaijan is unacceptable.
“Our goal is to achieve international recognition of independence through the unconditional realization of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh. We see the principles of the Artsakh conflict as follows: a negotiated path, the return of displaced persons to their ancestral homes, the preservation of the OSCE Minsk Group’s international mission, with Russia playing a primary role,” emphasized the President of Artsakh.
He noted that efforts must be made to extricate the Republic of Artsakh from international isolation.
According to the President, they will continue to strive for international recognition of Artsakh, achieving new successes in adopting recognition acts at the provincial level.
