Boris Johnson: Vladimir Putin Wouldn't Have Invaded Ukraine if He Were a Woman

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin “would not have invaded Ukraine if he were a woman.” He made this remark during an interview with the media following the G7 summit.

Specifically, the UK Prime Minister labeled the gender of the Russian president as a “contributing factor to the conflict.” He also described the war as “a perfect example of toxic masculinity.”

“If Putin were a woman, which he clearly is not, I really don’t think he would have started a mad war of invasion and violence in the way he has. If you need a perfect example of toxic masculinity, this is what he is doing in Ukraine,” Johnson remarked.

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, commented on Johnson's words, calling them an embodiment of “fantasy.” “Johnson stated that 'if Putin were a woman,' he wouldn’t have launched a special operation. Well, that is Boris Johnson's fantasy. What were they even discussing at the G7 summit?” she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian president, responded to a question about Johnson’s remarks, stating, “Old Freud would have dreamed of researching such an object during his lifetime,” referring to how the Kremlin assesses Johnson’s assertions.
