No Criminal Case Against Pashinyan; Complaint Rejected

Judge Karen Bisharyan has rejected the complaint of Artur Minasyan and Hakob Martirosyan, stating that no criminal case will be initiated against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Minasyan and Martirosyan demanded the initiation of a criminal case regarding Pashinyan's alleged acts of state treason.

It is worth noting that former prosecutor Hakob Martirosyan and Artur Minasyan submitted a report regarding the crime back in June 2021. In particular, they presented their report requesting the initiation of a criminal case against Nikol Pashinyan for alleged state treason.

In the presented report on the crime, Hakob Martirosyan outlined factual circumstances that allegedly indicate Pashinyan's actions that benefit an enemy state, to the detriment of the Republic of Armenia.

Earlier, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Karen Farhoyan, had rejected the complaint. A disciplinary appeal against this court decision was submitted and assigned to the Court of Appeals, with Judge Karen Bisharyan overseeing the matter.
