It is known who will perform the duties of the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council

According to Article 84 of the Constitutional Law "Judicial Code" of the Republic of Armenia, a vote took place today, July 4, in the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia, but a Council President was not elected.

According to the law, the duties of the President of the Supreme Council will be performed by the oldest member of the Council.

It is reported that the oldest member of the Council, S. Mikayelyan, has submitted a resignation request from performing the duties based on seniority.

By the decision of the Council, the request was granted, and the duties of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council will be performed by another senior member, Sergey Chichoyan.
