WARNING: Fraudsters Call Claiming to Be Bank Employees and Requesting Card Information

Unibank warns that cases of card fraud have increased. Fraudsters are calling cardholders, pretending to be bank employees, and demanding that they provide all card details, including the PIN code, expiration date, and CVV/CVC code.

“Do not share personal information and card details with others, even if the person claims to be a representative from your servicing bank. In case of any suspicious incidents, it is necessary to personally contact the bank using the phone numbers indicated on the card to verify if you are dealing with a real bank employee,” the bank stated in its announcement.

The bank also reminds that they have a 24-hour customer service available for card-related inquiries.
