My Greatest Request to the Mothers of Armenia: Karin Tonoyan
Leader of the "5165 Movement" Karin Tonoyan writes on her Facebook page: "My greatest request to the mothers of Armenia... Yesterday, we were in court with parents since noon, and then I was invited to the NSS regarding a protest against the head of the investigative committee, until 21:00... I arrived home exhausted and desperate, and I fell asleep with my only consolation, my grandchild, in my arms without turning on the television or the phone...
In the morning, from the teachers' gazes at school, I understood that something bad had happened... then, without waiting for one another, they began to tell about yesterday's press conference... everyone was shocked and desperate........... I personally do not have the strength to watch, everything has already been told.... the dog barks furiously before biting...... everything was predictable, it became clear also from yesterday's session due to Judge Bisharyan's excessive confidence and absolute bias...... Before surrendering the homeland, they are the first to attack, suffocating their internal fears and hatred towards the final destruction of their own identity.
Let me just say one thing: we deserve this, especially our mothers and educators.... Nikol has announced the beginning of a new war, while we continue to talk only in our homes, offices, and corners, as always. Mothers, unite if you want to save your children from tomorrow's war; we know what the pain of loss is..... we will help you not to live it..... but you must unite, we declare to these puppet-controlling external forces that we, the mothers, will fight in the next war and that we have no homeland or children to give as pawns for their interests.....
“There are nations that are still far from the blessings of independence and civilization because the influence of women among them is weak,” said Nzhdeh. Let us create an army of Armenian mothers; how many mothers will join will determine if we deserve to live with dignity, to have a homeland or not....... we do not need a leader, each of you represent yourself as your own leader..... - It requires labor that forges wills and souls to prepare us as a community for tomorrow's collective effort."
