600 Million Dram for the 31st Independence Day Celebrations, Featuring 'Spitaktsi Hayk'

The Armenian government is preparing to organize an event dedicated to the 31st anniversary of Armenia's independence with a budget of 600 million dram. This information was reported by Factor.am, referencing a procurement competition announcement sent to five companies that passed the preliminary phase.

"Considering the significance of Independence Day for the Armenian nation, especially after the war, as well as the importance of re-evaluating the concepts of independence and statehood, we suggest organizing a large-scale event that will not be limited to just the concert aspect but will also include achievements and forward-looking messages in all fields of our culture, science, history, and life. The event should aim to portray life as the greatest value and continuity," the executive body clarified the idea behind announcing the 600 million dram procurement competition.

The event dedicated to the 31st Independence Day will take place in Republic Square on September 21 from 19:00 to 22:00. According to the published competition invitation, performers will include Vahagn Hayrapetyan and Haik Ghévondyan, also known as 'Spitaktsi Hayk.' This information was confirmed in a conversation with jazz pianist Vahagn Hayrapetyan.

From the document package, Factor.am learned that five companies, including 'Factor Production,' passed to the second phase for organizing the Independence Day celebrations. This company regularly provides tens of millions of dram services to state structures through a one-person procurement procedure.
