Traffic Restored in Lars

Thanks to active construction work and efforts by the Georgian side, traffic has been restored in Lars. The road is now open.

This was reported by Sona Harutyunyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, on her Facebook page.

"I remind you that Lars was closed since yesterday. Due to heavy rains and abundant precipitation, part of the international significance Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway was damaged at the 136th kilometer (neutral zone) because of the flooding of the Terek River," she wrote.
