Jhangiryan Undergoes Surgery Today, Absent from Parliament

“Mr. Jhangiryan is undergoing surgery today. Due to health issues, I will temporarily be fulfilling his duties,” explained David Khachatryan, a member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), addressing why Gagik Jhangiryan, the acting head of the SJC, was not present in the National Assembly.

It is worth noting that the Parliament is currently discussing the appointment of a candidate for the Supreme Court judge during an extraordinary session.
