Details on the Tragic Car Accident Involving the Nephew of an MP: Identities of the Deceased and Injured Revealed

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case in the Syunik regional investigative department under the second part of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code.

According to shamshyan.com, this criminal case was opened regarding a car accident that occurred on June 23 at approximately 22:40 on the 8th kilometer of the M2 highway from Meghri customs to Yerevan.

On that day, Seyran Zakaryan, an 18-year-old resident of Agarak, lost control of his Toyota Hilux vehicle, veered off the roadway, crashed into a concrete barrier, and overturned.

As a result of the accident, Zakaryan died on the spot, while two passengers—19-year-old Vardan Vardanyan and 16-year-old Robert Stepanyan, also residents of Agarak—were taken to the Meghri medical center with injuries.
