Meeting Between Ararat Mirzoyan and Artak Beglaryan
On June 24, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the State Minister of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two discussed the situation in Artsakh following the Azerbaijani aggression in 2020 and the progress in addressing the emerging humanitarian issues.
Specifically, they addressed the efforts being made to highlight the rights of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, including those forcibly displaced, in international forums and to resolve the problems they face.
In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan and Artak Beglaryan emphasized the necessity of the involvement of international humanitarian organizations on the ground to comprehensively and fully address the humanitarian and socio-economic consequences of the war.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for a peaceful and just resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, highlighting the importance of coordinating the efforts of Armenia and Artsakh.
