George R.R. Martin Confirms Work on 'Game of Thrones' Sequel

Writer George R.R. Martin has confirmed that he is working on a sequel to 'Game of Thrones.' This information was reported by Говорит Москва.

The author of the cult books stated that the project will be based on the story of Jon Snow. Earlier, The Hollywood Reporter had reported on the sequel's launch, citing its own sources.

Martin mentioned that it was Kit Harington, the actor who portrayed Jon Snow, who proposed the idea for the continuation. “I can’t name the future project's screenwriters or showrunners yet because it’s still too early to talk about that. But Kit brought his team in, and they are amazing,” said George R.R. Martin.

He added that the working title of the project is 'Snow.'
