Video: "It's Normal - It's a Village, Why Is It Necessary for Women to Wear High Heels?" – Pashinyan

On June 23, during a government meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made remarks regarding the cleanliness of the streets as he discussed the issue with his ministers.

“I sometimes think about the topics we discuss at government meetings, and people might say, ‘What are they talking about? Look at the challenges our country is facing, they are discussing trash collected under the curb.’ But my deep conviction is that all of this has a genetic link to each other. It reflects our overall view, perception, and mindset. The problems we have had and have today, I see their roots in the streets that have been buried in mud for 30 years,” said the Prime Minister.

Pashinyan also emphasized the importance of cleanliness and the culture of maintaining the streets. “When it becomes normal for us to think, 'Well, it’s a village, what can we do, why is it necessary for women to wear high heels? Let them go in flats, or let the kids. These are all directly connected to each other,” he noted.
