Attempted Murder of 22-Year-Old: Who Was Responsible for Yesterday's Gunshots in Yerevan?

As a result of actions taken by the Shengavit Investigation Department of the Yerevan City Investigation Committee, an attempted murder case involving a 22-year-old resident of Masis city has been uncovered. This was reported by the Armenian Police.

It should be noted that the alert regarding the young man being transferred to the Masis Medical Center with a diagnosis of a "penetrating gunshot wound to the abdomen and a blind gunshot injury to the middle third of the left leg" was received on June 22, 2022, at 20:10.

Following urgent measures, investigators identified the crime scene, the motive, and the identity of the suspected perpetrator, a 32-year-old resident of Yerevan. Preliminary data indicates that around 19:30 on the day of the incident, the 32-year-old man fired shots at the young man with an illegally held firearm with the intent to unlawfully take his life, inflicting bodily injuries. However, the crime was not completed due to unforeseen circumstances, as the young man was transferred to the medical center and received the necessary medical assistance.
