Arman Tatoyan Denies Rumors of Creating a Political Alliance

The former human rights defender Arman Tatoyan has denied press reports and rumors that he is preparing to establish a political alliance with Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "Homeland" party.

"Discussions about creating a political alliance and media publications in this regard do not correspond to reality at all. I have already expressed my position regarding my public activities, and it remains unchanged," he stated.

It should be noted that the media also reported that a coalition was being prepared between Arman Tatoyan and Arthur Ghazinyan, a member of the National Assembly from the “Armenia” faction and president of the “One Armenia” party, who also denied these reports.

"There is no such thing; Arman Tatoyan has not announced his political ambitions, he is engaged in public activities, there are no such plans, we have a warm relationship, we are friends, but we have no agreements; I am continuing on my path as I have planned," he said in an interview with Pastinfo.

It’s noteworthy that Arthur Vanetsyan announced today that he is resigning from his mandate, as this parliament has ceased to be an effective platform to achieve the goal of saving the country from disaster. Vanetsyan also informed that the Council of his party, "Homeland," will continue its activities outside the parliament, but de jure and de facto, the alliance formed with the Republican Party of Armenia, "I Have Honor," is ceasing to exist.
